Brighter futures begin with opportunity. For military spouses and their families, these opportunities start when they find meaningful work. More often than not, however, military spouses face employment challenges, including frequent relocations tied to military life. Despite this, they bring strong skills, adaptability, and diverse experience to the workforce.

That’s why Clarvida is proud to reaffirm its partnership with the Military Spouse Employment Partnership (MSEP), a U.S. Department of Defense initiative dedicated to advancing career opportunities for military spouses across the country and beyond. MSEP is part of the Department of Defense’s Spouse Education and Career Opportunities program. This commitment reflects our deep respect for the sacrifices of military families.

Inclusion is woven into how Clarvida brings its mission to life, which is why, as part of the MSEP network, we join more than 1,000 organizations dedicated to recruiting, hiring, promoting, and retaining military spouses. This partnership is a natural extension of our values: honoring those who serve by creating inclusive pathways to purpose-driven careers in care.

Careers with Purpose and Impact

Clarvida provides a wide range of services, from behavioral health and community-based therapy to autism support and residential care. These are roles where compassion, resilience, and the ability to adapt to ever-changing needs make all the difference.

We believe in the incredible strength, skill, and potential of military spouses who understand first-hand what it means to show up in service of others. We are committed to creating career pathways where their unique strengths are recognized and valued. Whether supporting a child in need of behavioral therapy, helping a family navigate a mental health crisis, or contributing within our administrative or shared services teams, military spouses can find meaningful work and long-term opportunity at Clarvida.

When people are given opportunity and purpose, they thrive. By partnering with MSEP, we’re helping ensure military spouses have access to fulfilling careers that offer stability, flexibility, and room to grow. And in return, we gain team members who are incredibly dedicated, mission-driven, and ready to bring their best every day.

“As a military spouse, I feel truly supported, valued, and encouraged at Clarvida. I began as a Military Spouse Career Accelerator Pilot (MSCAP) Fellow, and I am grateful for the opportunity to transition into Marketing, which allowed me to stay at Clarvida and find myself professionally.”

Angellis Barradas, Marketing Coordinator at Clarvida

Our Commitment, Renewed

We are proud to reaffirm our commitment to hiring and supporting military spouses and help build a future where military families can thrive in their careers. Because at Clarvida, we believe in the power of care, and that includes caring for those who serve behind the scenes.

When people feel seen, heard, and valued, they thrive. And when teams thrive, the communities they serve flourish in ways that are both powerful and lasting. This belief is deeply embedded in Clarvida’s mission to brighten lives and communities, not only through our services, but in the culture we build together every day.

That’s the spirit behind the Clarvida Cultural Ambassador Program, recently relaunched to reflect our evolving workplace and renewed commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, belonging, and accessibility. It empowers elected employees across the organization to become culture-shapers and community-builders in the spaces where they work every day.

Who Are the Cultural Ambassadors?

Cultural Ambassadors are Clarvida employees who step into a leadership role of influence. They’re selected for their empathy, their ability to listen deeply, and their commitment to creating an environment where everyone feels safe, respected, and heard. They lead with compassion and conviction, helping turn Clarvida’s core values into everyday actions.

A Culture That Listens, Learns, and Leads

Ambassadors help strengthen a culture that is connected and inclusive every day. They bring Clarvida’s values to life through meaningful cultural activities, elevate employee voices and lived experiences, and partner with leaders to foster inclusive, consistent team practices. Ambassadors also identify opportunities to strengthen cultural alignment across the organization and help maintain clarity, trust, and a sense of belonging—especially during times of change. Through it all, they create safe spaces for open dialogue, grounded in confidentiality, discretion, and respect.

At the heart of the program is a continuous cultural support cycle: Listen → Learn → Lift → Lead → Loop Back. Ambassadors listen to their teams, learn from their stories, lift insights to the right spaces, model inclusive behaviors, and loop back with feedback, ensuring voices don’t just get heard, they help shape real outcomes. This model is a reflection of Clarvida’s belief that a thriving workplace is built on trust, dialogue, and shared responsibility.

How the Program Works

Ambassadors serve a six-month term, contributing about 1–3 hours per month. They participate in cultural engagement activities, inclusion and accessibility initiatives, quarterly huddles and resource-sharing, and peer support and listening sessions. They’re guided by a dedicated Ambassador Committee made up of co-leads, People Team partners, and operational leaders who help keep the program aligned, responsive, and consistent across the organization. Ambassadors are celebrated for their impact through recognition and rewards and receive special Clarvida swag as a thank-you for leading with compassion and advocacy.

A Workplace Where Everyone Belongs

The Cultural Ambassador Program reflects the kind of workplace we’re building together, one where belonging is intentional, diverse voices are celebrated, and every employee feels empowered to show up fully as themselves. Here at Clarvida, we believe culture doesn’t come from the top down. It comes from the inside out, through the people who care enough to listen, learn, and lead.

Your collaboration has helped us deliver care that truly makes a difference in people’s lives. From expanding our reach to strengthening our services, your contributions have been essential to our mission.
This year brought incredible achievements that reflect the dedication and impact of our teams across our organization.

A Few Recent Highlights from 2025

  • The Clarvida Pennsylvania team has launched innovative programs and strengthened community partnerships:
    • Mobile Med Program: This year, we opened our new Mobile Med program in Schuylkill County. The program supports clients receiving psychiatric services and serves as a step between outpatient care and hospitalization. We are currently accepting clients
    • School Partnerships: We have built strong relationships with schools in the counties where we provide services, ensuring collaborative support for students and families.
  • The Clarvida Tennessee team has built strong partnerships and has executed behavioral health efforts statewide:
    • Emmaus Partnership – Partnered with Emmaus, a full-service addiction medicine clinic using medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for substance use disorders. Their focus on adults and young adults has made them a strong referral source for psychiatric medication management.
    • FFTA Board Visit – Hosted the FFTA Board and Staff at our Nashville offices to showcase operations and discuss their new emphasis on Behavioral Health Services beyond foster care. Attendees included several Tennessee provider CEOs, such as Nicole Young of OmniVisions. Wade Reed, Executive Director, opened the meeting on March 26, 2025.
  • The Clarvida Arizona team had two programs that really stood out:
    • SAFE Program Partnership – Arizona Administration of the Courts (AOC) chose Clarvida as a partner for the SAFE program, mentoring juveniles with gun charges; supported 100+ youth since summer.
    • Foster Care Expansion – With Catholic Charities, Clarvida provides foster homes for unaccompanied minors under the Office of Refugee Resettlement. After last year’s success, we expanded to also serve traditional foster youth.
  • The Clarvida Oregon team proudly marked the official ribbon-cutting of its Outpatient Crisis Center on November 3.
  • The Clarvida Georgia team received two major awards, from October 1-3, at the DBHDD Behavioral Health Symposium:
    • Behavioral Health Exceptional Recovery-Oriented Service Award – recognizing innovative, recovery-focused care and organizational excellence.
    • Regional Outstanding Behavioral Health Provider – Region 2 (Augusta) – awarded to the highest-performing provider in each region.
  • The Clarvida Manila office officially opened as our new global business center and marked the occasion with its inauguration celebration on November 19.

We’ve also further united our teams and services under our shared Clarvida identity. This has allowed us to align our organization and expand our ability to deliver exceptional care. We are deeply grateful to our partners who stood with us through this season of change, helping build a strong foundation for even greater impact in the year ahead.

Looking forward, we invite you to keep building with us. Partnering with Clarvida is designed to make collaboration even more meaningful, because when we grow together, we create lasting change.

The holiday season can be joyful—but for many people, it also brings significant stress and emotional challenges. Research shows that a majority of adults find the holidays more stressful than even tax season, with 63% reporting higher stress levels during this time of year, and 79% admitting they often put others’ needs ahead of their own health and well-being. American Heart Association

This combination of social obligations, financial concerns, disrupted routines, and family responsibilities can negatively affect mental health, making it important to recognize when support is needed. Whether someone struggles with anxiety, loneliness, or just feeling overwhelmed, access to behavioral health care and emotional support can make a meaningful difference.

Clarvida offers a range of behavioral health and supportive services that can help individuals and families navigate this time with greater stability and care, including:

  • Outpatient mental health services for children, adolescents, and adults
  • Substance use treatment and recovery support
  • Family-based and community-based services
  • Care coordination and case management to help individuals access the right level of support
  • Crisis support and therapeutic interventions tailored to individual needs

These services are designed to meet people where they are—providing compassionate, culturally responsive care that supports emotional well-being, resilience, and connection during challenging periods.

We’re grateful to the community of partners who help connect people to care and support throughout the year, including during this particular season. If you or someone you know could benefit from care, we encourage you to visit Clarvida.com to learn about available services, connect with providers, or submit a request for assistance via our online form.

Support is available—reaching out is the first step toward well-being this holiday season.

Clarvida for All: Celebrating the Power of Inclusion

The International Day of Persons with Disabilities is more than a date on the calendar; it’s a global call to action. This day champions the rights and well-being of people with disabilities while raising awareness of the challenges they face every day. It reminds us of the urgent need to build a world where everyone, regardless of ability, can access education, healthcare, and employment with equality and dignity.

Why It Matters

Disability comes in many forms – physical, sensory, intellectual or psychosocial – which affect how people interact with the world around them. According to the World Health Organization, over 1 billion people worldwide live with some form of disability. Many face barriers to accessing quality healthcare and employment opportunities. At Clarvida, we believe that breaking these barriers is essential to creating healthier communities and workplaces.

Our Commitment to Inclusion

Clarvida is dedicated to fostering an environment where everyone can thrive. Through our behavioral health services and inclusive hiring practices, we aim to support individuals with disabilities and empower them to live fulfilling lives.

  • Accessible Care: We design programs that prioritize accessibility and personalized support.
  • Inclusive Careers: Our behavioral health jobs offer meaningful work that makes a real impact, every day.

How You Can Get Involved

  • Join Our Team: Explore Clarvida careers and be part of a mission-driven organization that values inclusion.
  • Share Your Story: If you have experiences or insights about disability inclusion, we’d love to hear from you.
  • Participate in iThrive Events: Stay tuned for upcoming activities that celebrate diversity and inclusion as an employee at Clarvida.

International Day of Persons with Disabilities is a reminder that inclusion is not a one-day effort; it’s a year-round commitment. Together, we can create a future where accessibility and opportunity are the norm, not the exception.

A Moment of Pride, A Message of Purpose:
What Our Leaders Shared During the Clarvida Manila Inauguration

Three people at a ribbon cutting ceremony.

At the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the newly inaugurated Clarvida Global Business Center in Manila. From left, Clarvida Manila Country Head Marilen Tuazon; Atar Capital Founder Cyrus Nikou; and Clarvida CEO Steve Wigginton.

On November 19, 2025, Clarvida officially opened its new Global Business Center in the Philippines, an important step in extending the reach and impact of our mission. Located in Metro Manila, this new hub now supports key operational functions in finance, IT, marketing, human resources, legal, and compliance. It plays a vital role in helping our clinical teams across the United States stay focused on what matters most: providing high quality, life changing care to individuals and families.

The inauguration ceremony brought together leaders from Clarvida and its parent company, Atar Capital, along with members of the Manila team and other honored guests. While the event marked a major milestone, it was also a moment of reflection and a time to reaffirm our purpose and recognize the people and vision driving our growth.

A Warm Welcome from Clarvida Manila’s Country Head

Quote from speech by Marilen Tauzen

Clarvida Manila Country Head Marilen “Mayen” Tuazon opened the ceremony with heartfelt gratitude and a clear message about the significance of this milestone for both the local and global team. She introduced Clarvida’s mission and the vital role the Manila center plays in supporting it—across all shared services—helping strengthen systems that enable U.S. care teams to focus more on direct services.

Her remarks met with enthusiastic applause, and many in the room felt a deep sense of belonging and shared purpose.

Finding Meaning in Growth

Quote from speech by Steve Wigginton

In his keynote message, Clarvida CEO Steve Wigginton described the new Manila center not just as an expansion, but as a way to strengthen the company’s ability to deliver on its promise of care.

This statement captured the spirit of the day: that growth is not for its own sake, but to help Clarvida serve more communities more effectively, with compassion and excellence.

From Vision to Reality

Quote from speech by Stanley Huang

Stanley Huang, Managing Director of Atar Capital, expressed pride in seeing the vision of a global support center realized through the Manila team’s energy and potential.

His message was one of encouragement and expectation, affirming that Clarvida Manila is not just a satellite office, but a core part of the company’s global service engine.

A Story That is Just Beginning

Quote from speech by Cyrus Nikou

Cyrus Nikou, Founder of Atar Capital, shared a heartfelt reflection on the company’s vision and the values that continue to drive Clarvida forward. He emphasized that the launch of Clarvida Manila was not just about expanding operations, but about strengthening a global ecosystem of care, where teams across geographies work in concert to serve those most in need.

He encouraged the Manila team to remember that their daily contributions are connected to something far greater: helping transform lives through quality care.

As Clarvida Manila continues to grow, so does the company’s capacity to support its care teams, improve lives, and reach more communities across the United States. The messages from the inauguration serve as both a celebration and a charge, to keep moving forward, together, with purpose and heart.

Learning from Heritage: Building Inclusive Careers in Behavioral Health

November marks Native American Heritage Month — a time to honor the rich histories, cultures, and contributions of Indigenous peoples across the United States. First recognized nationally in 1990, this observance invites reflection, education, and celebration of Native American, Alaska Native, and Native Hawaiian communities.

At Clarvida, we honor this month as a time to celebrate the rich wisdom embedded in cultural traditions — especially those that uplift resilience, storytelling, and community. These timeless values resonate deeply within behavioral health, where understanding diverse lived experiences fosters stronger, more meaningful relationships between care professionals and the people they support.

We believe that honoring heritage and learning from cultural traditions enriches the lives of those we serve — and inspires personal and professional growth among our employees.

The Power of Cultural Learning

Storytelling, communal support, and resilience are enduring pillars of Native American culture and heritage – traditions that continue to guide and inspire. These practices remind us that healing is not solely an individual journey — but one that often thrives in the context of collective strength and community.

We encourage employees to carry these lessons forward by valuing diverse perspectives in every aspect of care. Whether it’s adapting treatment approaches to respect cultural differences, or simply listening with empathy, our teams grow stronger by learning from heritage.

Building Cultural Competence in Behavioral Health Careers

At Clarvida, professional development goes beyond technical skills. We support our employees in building cultural competence — the ability to recognize, understand, and respect cultural differences in care.

This kind of growth strengthens trust with clients and makes behavioral health work more impactful and fulfilling. By weaving cultural understanding into everyday practice, our teams deliver care that feels inclusive, respectful, and meaningful.

Heritage Values in Everyday Work

The values reflected in Native American traditions — connection, care, and resilience — mirror the meaningful work Clarvida teams do every day. Whether helping families navigate challenges or empowering individuals to take the next step in their journey, our employees carry forward the spirit of connection and care.

These skills enable Clarvida staff to support clients effectively, navigate complex challenges, and contribute to a culture of excellence and compassion.
